What a wonderful opportunity you have this weekend, to attend powerful educational sessions that will advance your ability to be a successful individual, successful club and successful district.  You have the opportunity to rekindle existing friendships and make new ones.  You have the opportunity to be a part of an experience that can change your life forever. 

As is worded in our Vision Statement, Toastmasters empowers people to achieve their full potential and realize their dreams.  Somewhere out there is a future District Governor.  A future President of Toastmasters International.  A future business or community leader.  It could be you!   Toastmasters truly does help people “Be Your Best!”   I encourage you to take full advantage of all this weekend offers you.  I promise you will go home with the realization that Toastmasters is “Simply Amazing!” 

I wish you a great convention and I hope to see many of you at the International Convention in Phoenix in August, where I know District 80 will be celebrating a Distinguished (or better) year!
